Just thought I would let you know how much I appreciate the quality of craftsmanship that went into the rifle you built for me. I must say that the rifle is very pleasing to the eye, although more importantly the performance has been impressive. Within the first five rounds fired it produced a three shot group measuring .372” and has continued to improve with load development. Best group to date is three shots measuring .116 using new Lapua brass, H. Varget, 155gn Lapua Scenar and CCI BR primers. This target was shot by Leonard Hartle of Virgina with our custom rifles. Our C-4 stock, Remington Action and Brux 26" 1x11 twist SS barrel. Center to center on this 140 yard group is .287. Not too bad.

Wanted to give you a quick update & Thank you!!!
Finally got a chance to get to the range and give the new 284 barrel a run. I was lust doing a little break in and some base load testing. Was able to get a couple of 5 shot groups later in the day in a .512 inch group at 200yds. This thing will flat out shoot - like you said! Does like the node you provided & likes the Berger 175 and 180s, got some Sierra 175 and new 180 to chrono and test next week. The break-in, bore cleaning technique and chemicals you recommended work great. Let you know how it works out for me during this years competitions.

By the way Jim's rifle is beautiful and it shoots as good as it looks!"
